During your yoga practice you may hear the teacher call for you to take your favorite arm variation. The reason why we do that here at Pose-itively Yoga is because at any given time, a yogi may be going through a muscular, tendinous or ligamentous challenge where one arm variation may be more helpful or feel much better than another. If the teacher calls for you to take an arm variation behind your back that might be out of reach for you ‘at this time’, then you can take another variation.
